The JAG is Lead & Steel’s intermediate-tier rifle intended for the commercial market. With many features borrowed from the All-Rounder Carbine, the JAG is meant to bridge the gap between rifle tiers and provide an offering that’s Just As Good.

Handguard: JAG+ Includes All-Rounder Carbine™ Anodized 6061 free float 15″ hand guard. This handguard includes Steel QD Sling Inserts in Rail which are not standard for the JAG Rifle. Wedge Locking M-LOK Free Float Rail – ideal rigidity for IR lasers & illuminators.

Barrel: Our 16” Match-Grade Nitride lightweight profile barrel chambered in 5.56mm is machined from 4150 Chrome-Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ corrosion-resistant finish & a QPQ-coated M4 feed-ramp extension.  This barrel gives you weight savings over the standard government profile barrel and utilizes a 625 gas block.

Muzzle Device: Will come with either A1 3-prong muzzle device (pictured) or standard A2 flash hider.

Bolt Carrier Group: The JAG utilizes the L&S Standard BCG, a properly heat treated 9310 bolt with a gas nitride coating to keep your AR running flawless.

Charging Handle: Mil-spec charging handle

Receiver Set: Borrowed from the ARC, L&S’s 7075 forged receiver set comes with an M16 FCG pocket and Type III hard coat anodizing for added coating longevity.

Gas Drive: L&S utilizes the 4140CMV machined quality gas block (QGB) for paralleled thermal expansion, which is secured to the dimpled barrel via degreased, thread locked, serrated gas block screws torqued to 25 in/lbs.

Trigger: Our LPK includes the Enhanced Reliability Combat Trigger v2 (ERCT v2) borrowed from the ARC with a full mass hammer and mil std. springs for reliable primer ignition.

Controls: The JAG comes preinstalled with an enlarged trigger guard, bolt catch, ambi safety, and ergonomic Thril® furniture.

Each JAG comes with a pair of L&S back up sights, 30rd DuraMag GI magazine, lock, user manual, and 1oz vial of Gun Butter®.
